A flyer detailing these regulations states that “schools will send home children whose uniforms breech school dress code”. The flyer also stresses the importance of a uniforms and an overall smart appearance as a large contributor to a strong sense of identity and promoter of respect for your child. The Ministry of Education is publicizing a new method of school uniform regulation in government schools this coming September, which requires all uniforms to be well-fitted, clean, tidy and in good repair.
